Our focus at D-BAT Golden Triangle is one-on-one lessons and instruction. We want to partner with your child to help them develop their skills over the long-term. Players who come to us see measurable improvement in their abilities.

At D-BAT Golden Triangle, lessons are taught with the player as the focus while involving the parents during the lesson.  Our instructors can help players at every level. 

Lessons are 30-60 minutes, and are available in the following areas for baseball and softball: Hitting, Pitching, Catching, Fielding, & Slapping (softball)

Hestand Foster

Hestand played baseball for Waxahachie High School and the Coppell Copperheads of the Texas Collegiate League in 2008. He then went on to play for Abilene Christian University and Eastfield College. In the two years at Eastfield, Hestand batted .350 each year and earned All-Region accolades in 2011 & 2012. He then received a full athletic scholarship to the University of the Incarnate Word where he finished his collegiate career. Hestand has been coaching lessons and select level teams since 2008. He focuses on: catching, hitting, fielding, pitching, and strength & conditioning.

Jarrod Vaught

Jarrod is a graduate of Eastern Hills High School in Fort Worth where he was a middle infielder. He then went on to Western Texas College in Snyder, TX. Coach Vaught has over 30 years of coaching experience where he has led teams of all ages and skill levels. He has also been an instructor at many showcase events hosted by organizations such as: Perfect Game, Baseball Factory, and US Baseball. He is currently a member of the coaching staff for the US Baseball team that travels to Italy every four years to compete in the TriColore games. Jarrod resides in Watauga with his wife Kathie and daughter Ashley; his son J.J. is currently a student-athlete at Oklahoma Panhandle State University.

Chris Christensen

Chris attended Plano Sr. High School where he played baseball & soccer. Due to arm injury, he went on to play soccer at Texas Tech University. He moved to Keller in 2002 and his passion for baseball continued as his son C.J. thrived; C.J. is attending Southeast Community College in Beatrice, NE. Chris has coached at all levels ranging from Little League to high school select ball for 15 years. His passion is truly in making players better not only on the field but off the field and taking kids & turning them into young men where they will have the discipline, work ethic, and skills to make it at the next level.

Amanda Stafford

Amanda is a graduate of Bishop Kelley High School in Tulsa, OK, where she earned Class 5A All-State, All- Conference, and All Region Honors. Throughout her high school tenure, she lead her conference in batting average. She began her college softball career at McLennan Community College and later transferred to Baylor University as a utility/pitcher.

Rick Perez

Rick is a graduate of Burleson High School and Navarro College in Corsicana, TX. He was Player of the Year in Johnson County, Offensive Player of the Year in his high school district. Rick has been an instructor or coach since 2002 taking teams to win World Series in 2006; and winning state championships multiple years. Rick’s focus of the game includes: Pitching, Hitting, & mental parts of the game. Many of his players have gone on to Division I playing careers.
